Hello loves! If you guys follow me on Snapchat (username xanmirvil) then you know the funny little story behind these pictures, and if you don't (you should), then allow me to share it here. My mom is the photographer behind these gorgeous shots. I absolutely love them. We were shooting two looks that day, so if the background seems familiar, then its from 2 posts ago. Anyways, I was telling her how I wanted to have my shots done and she sorta took over. She was like "No, don't stand there, stand here. Turn your face towards the light, I know what I'm doing." And can I just say she was right. They are so crisp and vibrant. I didn't have to do much editing. My favorites are the sitting ones. That's where she exclaimed that she knew how to get great shots. So that's pretty much my mom in a nutshell. She's quirky, funny, and loving, but mostly thinks her way is the best way. For this particular shoot, I didn't dare prove her wrong. Have an awesome weekend and I'll talk to you later.

Happy Wednesday loves! Here's another post coming at you! (LOL). So would you believe that this outfit (top, pants, and boots) were under $25 total! Yep, isn't that the greatest steal! I felt like such a champ leaving the store. I've been waiting for cooler temps to show these bad boys off to you! You guys may also be thinking, "How in the hell is that possible? , Are they thrifted / used?" Well, I'm happy to report that they are all brand new. I was having a fun day out with my mom a few weeks ago and she wanted to explore this new store in town. The store is called dd's Discounts. It's basically like a Ross or TJ Maxx, but the prices seem even lower.  So, if you guys have this store in your town / city definitely check it out. Actually, this entire look is under $60 (excluding the purse of course). Talk to you loves later and thanks for stopping by!

(Side note: The sweater is actually a size 12. So if you want that oversized look definitely choose a large in the sweaters I linked above.)

Hello Loves. So I hope you all had an awesome weekend, I sure did. I had a mini picnic at the dog park with the BF while the pup played. The day was beautiful and we had so much fun. I shared a few snaps of the day on my Snapchat (xanmirvil). Marley got to play with the cutest brother and sister American bulldog mixes. They were only 10 months, but bigger than Marley.

Anyways, this outfit is from a few days earlier. I was hanging out with my mom and she took some outfit photos for me. This is the first set. I always love plaid for fall. This is my take on Fall in Louisiana. It's still a little hot out, so I can still wear shorts. I also have been waiting to style these shorts for you since I bought them. I think they are the perfect grungy piece. Sorry to keep this post short, but I gotta head off to work in a little bit. I 'll talk to guys later, love you!

Hello loves! So today's look is inspired by the 90s grunge trend. The BF and I were out and about this past Sunday. We initially were going to the Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, but once we got there the BF thought it was boring, so we ended up going downtown. We grabbed lunch and hung out at one of my fave bars, The Greenroom. The atmosphere is laid back and it's not over-packed. He sipped on his $2 beers and I downed a few $4 mimosas. We talked politics, history, and life. All in all it was a great day. I don't get alot of Sundays like this and this one was definitely a good one. Happy Wednesday loves, and I'll talk to you later.

I've always been the kinda girl that likes to layer. When Autumn rolls around it's the perfect opportunity to layer. The weather is just perfect for light layers. The BF and I were planning on taking Marley to the dog park that day since the weather was a beautiful 63 degrees. It was such a great break from the blaring heat. Dog park days call for comfortable clothing, since I'm running after Marley when it is time to leave. Also, I don't want anything that's not heavy duty. If you own any dogs yourself and frequent the park, then you know you can get messy. I was trying to figure out what to wear, and I knew I wanted to incorporate my leopard scarf. So this complete outfit was styled around this scarf. And you guys know that i love color so I had to add this old coral/peach colored cardigan to the mix. I'm really loving how this outfit came out. I love when I can take separates that I got from different times in my life and pair them to make an outfit that's completely fashionable for future seasons.
Have an awesome day loves.

P.S. Sorry this post didn't go up yesterday as planned. I was having some Internet issues.
