It was the first morning I worked my main job in a long time. I got off at 2 pm and didn't look back. I hope you guys have a great rest of the week. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Friday loves! Today I have a special post for you. I've done a little collaboration with fellow blogger Dee of Slumber Talk. We decided to show you our take on how to transition your wardrobe from Winter to Spring. My look is relatively simple, classic, and chic. What better way to start dressing for Spring even when the weather is still somewhat winter like, than a chic blazer, a pop of pastel, and cute flats. You want to be able to pull away layers due to weather temperature changes. Here in Louisiana the weather is a bit cray cray. We never really have a true transitional period between seasons. I've mentioned this before to you dears many times before. The weather has been in the mid 80s lately. This is why I was able to wear that miniskirt in my last post. Now that the weather is warmer i can only think of florals, clean lines and lightweight pieces. Here is another example of transitioning your wardrobe to spring I've done.

So loves, how do you transition your wardrobe to spring? Let me know below in the comments by linking your transitional looks. Also don't forget to check out Dee's post, for more inspiration!

Thrifting for White Texture

Well hello again! As always thanks for returning to my little blog.

So about the title... I love going thrifting, and Goodwill is a great place to go. You can find some really great stuff. On my recent trip there I got 3 white sweaters and this gorgeous textured skirt. I wasn't really looking for anything, just browsing to pass the time. I remember seeing this skirt at Target, but not buying it. I thought I didn't like it, but when I saw it at Goodwill, I decided to try it on. I absolutely loved it. The best part was that the original tags were still on it. How can you beat a chic skirt that cost less than $5? You can't! I wish I had some special place to go in this. I may just break this out for a special date later.

I hope you guys have an awesome Wednesday!

Hello loves. Happy Monday! So I know I'm probably the last person to do the jogger trend, but I've always wanted to. I don't know why it took me so long to by a pair but I've finally done it. Yesterday was pretty interesting. I woke up and got dressed for work. (As you all know, I work 12 hours on the weekends.) I usually have to be there for 8:45 AM. So I get to work and the girls are like, "Xan, what are you doing here? You're not on the schedule today." I'm thinking damn I woke up early for nothing. So, I go back home, but I can't go back to bed. I decided then I would take this as a positive, because I really didn't feel like working anyways. I got dressed and proceeded to enjoy the time off before my main job. This is how this outfit came about.  I wanted to be cute but, I also wanted to look sporty and comfortable. Now this look is a bit different for me, since my casual norm is jeans, but I'm glad how it turned out. What better way to spend Sunday morning, than being in sweats! The weather was gorgeous and I'm feeling like spring has truly begun! Hopefully there are no more freezing days in upcoming forecasts. Well I hope you all enjoy your day. Thanks for stopping by.

P.S. I'm Sorry about being away for a full week. I hope that hasn't discouraged you from coming back to my little blog.

Hello loves! I hope you've all been well. Sorry I haven't posted all week. I've had a lot of little things going on lately, so i didn't have time to dedicate to the blog this week. I hope you guys will continue to stick with me. As I promised on Instagram , here's a look at what I wore yesterday. This was taken after a quick visit to my parents. This a little tourist attraction when you visit the city of Opelousas. Surprisingly, I lived here for 10 years and never explored this little place. It's quite beautiful! Anyhow, I hope you all have a great day and a good weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

Home Inspiration... Work Spaces

work space

Hello loves. Today's post is on home inspiration. Lately I've been looking on Pinterest for inspiration for doing a home office space. I have a one bedroom apt. If you look back at old Instagram pictures you can see glimpses of my apartment. I have this huge desk and I want to move it out of my bedroom. I'm thinking of moving it into my living room, because I get the most light in there. Anyways here are the images I've been pining!
Install shelves above a desk to make the most of a small work space. go forth and share that BOW DIAMOND style ppl! ;-) xx
