My Kind of Neutral

Hello all! Here's what I wore to day. After I shot these photos I got a call that my dad had been admitted to the hospital, so I spent most of the day there talking, and keeping him and my mom company. He's just as lively in the hospital as he is out. Only thing he jokingly complains about is that they don't feed patients fast enough. That's my dad, 82 and still thinks cause he's that old he can say whatever he wants, he's earned it. Now I'm finally home writing  and editing this post. I hope all of you are having a good week so far, and hopefully my dad will be back home by tomorrow giving everybody hell. LOL!

Dad's Wear

Hello all! This is what I wore on my day off. I visited a friend and did some book browsing at my "happy place", a.k.a Barnes and Noble. I took a seat on the floor in the home decor section and began looking through the books for inspiration with my Starbucks in hand.

Somehow I was channeling Cher from Clueless. I was thinking about the outfit she was wearing when she failed her driving test. I looked in my closet to see what I had so I could recreate the look but in a modern and grown up way. I remembered that I had this sweater vest that I took out of my dad's closet years ago, then thought "how perfect"! Also I've been seeing everyone sporting pointy toe pumps and I wanted to wear a pair myself. I don't have many pointy toe pumps ( I'm a peep toe/ round toe kinda girl), but I'm glad I got these BCBGirls ones when I did! I hope you all had a great weekend and have an amazing week ahead!

Aquatic

I was looking in my closet thinking "I wanna put together an outfit infused with a rich color the night before. Also, I woke up knowing I wanted to use this hat in a outfit. I really love this hat I've had it for years now! I love to wear hats when my hair decides to cooperate. I took my hair down after doing my makeup and noticed it was so frizzy. I was like WTF!!!! So I had to pull it back into a side ponytail (sigh). Anyways, the weather was nice and sunny. So, there was no reason to be down right! Here's the result of how I styled this awesome hat!

Here's Some inspiration for a Valentines Day look that is sexy, sophisticated, and sweet. A look I would totally rock for a Valentines date! Or any other date for that matter. I love everything about this look. The glasses give that expected Valentines Day color but in and unexpected place. I couldn't resist adding glasses since I wear them on a daily basis!

With A Little Edge

Hey loves! I have another outfit post. Today's post is short. I left my camera home, so these pics were taken with my iPhone. I wanted to wear a dress today since it was so muggy and rainy outside. I also wanted to wear a dress because I've been stuck in pants/jeans due to the weather. I went to the flea market after work to get another phone case and do a little browsing. My other two have finally bit the dust after a year and a half. I rarely get to go to the flea market. They are only open on Saturdays and Sundays and I normally work all day on those days.  When I got there it looked abandoned! I hadn't been in a while, and usually when I do go, it is bustling with shoppers. I spoke to one of the vendors about it being washed out due to the rain. She said it was slow like that the past few weekends. So I wonder whats up? Any-who, I hope you guys had a great weekend.
