Hello loves. Yes, it has been quite a while (2.5 months to be exact) since I posted my last blog post. Of course some very hard stuff has happened in my life since that blog post. I will try to write an in-depth post on what's been going on later. If you want to know now, you can check out this Instagram post. Anyways, I was planning on putting up this review in December, but better late than never right. So now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's get onto the review.
So I received these products via Influenster. I've mentioned them before and get totally excited whenever I receive a box from them. Usually they give out sample sizes of products to try out , but the last few boxes have been full size items. Which means if I real love the products then I can enjoy them for much longer.
I'm such a strict regime person when it comes to my skin care. If it works I don't like to break away from it. This mask proved that I can try new things every now and then and they work out for the best. It's really awesome. The fact that it bubbles up on your face is so fun. To use this mask, you have to slightly wet your face and paint a thin layer over your face. It takes between 5-10 min. to work. Once the bubbles start to dissipate, you wash it away and you're left with clean, smooth skin. I use the mask between 3-4 times a week. At first I thought it broke me out, but I realized that it was because I started using another face wash and moisturizer combo for my skin. This product really impressed me when I had two blackheads on my cheek and after 3 days of use, this mask cleared it right up. E.L.F. did a really good job on this one.
I've never used a face primer before. I didn't think I needed one. Although I have to say I've quite enjoyed it. It's lightweight and you don't have to use much. About two pumps covers the entire face. I mainly use this under my powder and it makes my face look flawless, yet natural.
I've had a few highlighters and bronzers that I've used in the past, and I will say this one is not a great as those. Don't get me wrong, it's an okay highlighter for the price. My go to highlighter is Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter. It's a cream highlighter and perfect for my dry skin. This highlighter I wasn't super impressed by. The highlighter gives off a pretty glow but, I have to apply way more than I would like, to see it. The bronzer side does nothing on me. It doesn't even show up on my skin. If you are my skin tone or deeper, I would suggest that you skip this duo and opt for just the highlighter in Moonlight Pearls.
The color that came in my box was Wine and I absolutely adore this color. Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, it's a perfect plum/pink. This lip pencil was easy to apply and so creamy on the lips. As I mentioned before, I have dry skin and my lips are no exception. I usually will put lip balm under my lipstick, whether matte or creamy, to prevent flaking. I didn't have to apply lip balm with this one as it kept my lips moisturized. It was also easy to reapply. Now the thing I don't like about this lip color is it that it states it's a matte lip color. I wore this color all day waiting for it to dry and become matte, but it never did. It always stayed slightly creamy and a soft sheen reflecting off of it. It is not long lasting and does not stain the lips very well like most matte lip colors do. I'd totally say you get what you pay for this product. Like I said I love the product, but it needs to be re-marketed as a cream lipstick instead of a matte.
I received the Lip Exfoliator in Mint Maniac. I was probably the most excited to try this one. The product description says that it is infused with Vitamin E, Shea butter, avocado, grape, and jojoba oil. My lips have been so chapped this winter. I actually tried this one first. I rubbed it on my lips and was utterly disappointed. I kept thinking "wow this crap doesn't work!" So I threw it back in the box so ready to bash it. A while back I decided to give it another go and realized that you have to work it more until the sugar granules emerge. It shocked me that it worked so great. It has a great scent and it also tastes great.
I hope you guys like my review and my first post back. If you guys have tried any of these products, let me know in the comments below. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Hello again. I hope you all are doing well and not stressing over Thanksgiving Day prep this week. After Wednesday, I'll have a three day weekend and I'm definitely looking forward to it.
The outfit I'm wearing above embodies all my feels about fall and Thanksgiving, bold hues that can actually be found in nature. If you're not sure of what to wear on Thanksgiving, just let this outfit be a bit of inspiration. And no you don't have to go out and by a vibrant floral top or a new suede skirt, just let the colors and textures bring you inspiration. Yet, above all other things be comfortable and completely you. I hope you all have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

I will admit that I am a lover of all things cozy. From extra soft blankets to the fuzziest of socks, I'm all for it. This brings me to why I love the blanket scarf trend. It's like wrapping yourself in a blanket that's appropriate for outside the house.
So, the blanket scarf trend has been around for the last two seasons, and it's not going anywhere. I DIYed one last year which you can see here. But this year, I wanted to get my hands on the coveted tan/plaid color that is so popular. I don't remember who I was watching, but I'm sure it was another blogger on Snapchat. She said that Target had $7 blanket scarves in the Dollar Spot section. Sure enough, I raced there to buy myself one. There were only a handful left when I spotted this one. This color was the last one, and I knew it was meant to be. Big shout out to Target for pricing these at $7. These scarves can be so expensive. I am a lover of scarves, during the fall/winter, but $40 or more for a piece of fabric I can DIY is ridiculous. I've linked similar ones below, that aren't too expensive. So if you haven't picked up one of these yet, don't hesitate. I've worn mine for the past 7 days and I've already gotten great cost per wear.
